Rock to the Rescue Donates to Victims of the Paris Terrorist Attacks
Posted on November 20, 2015 by adminDear Styx & REO fans,
When I think about life on the road I think about what a wonderful opportunity musicians and crew members have to experience the world, connect with new people, and leave a positive impact in each place we visit. It’s not always easy being away from home for so long but it’s comforting to have your road family’s support while on tour. Every day we all get up and work our butts off to put on the best darn show possible. We know that music impacts lives greatly and we pursue our passion in it so that fans can experience that amazing electric energy it creates. We can only hope that as a result of their experiences fans can continue on with that positivity in their lives. That being said, the recent events that have unfolded in Paris have left us heart broken to see such senseless violence unfold in a place where we go to experience the music we love; a place we go to feel alive. As we struggle to come to terms with the tragedy that occurred in Paris on November 13th, 2015, Rock to the Rescue has donated $25,000 to the Sweet Stuff Foundation which will directly help the victim’s families affected by the terrorist attacks. Love is much stronger than death and we have so much love for our fellow tour families, friends, and fans. Please know that you are in our thoughts and hearts Paris.
With love, compassion, and hope for a more peaceful future,
Rock to the Rescue
